A Very Happy Chinese New Year !!

Chinese New Year 2006 was getting really boring and mundane so we, kwei's decided to 'spice' things up. After a long drive to Cheras to send Shaun's gf back, (hoping that we could get ang paus from her parents which didnt happen eventually),we had our 1st ke wei cook out. We like to try new things and after the success of the ke wei bakery, we decided to take it one step further..So we bring forth 'the ke wei chinese new year cookout' !!!

We got our ingredients from tesco.. cincau, chicken, canned pork,yee sang (yes i know we're cheap) and who can forget chicken vindaloo !! Shopping with ke wei's is like shopping with females..they can't make up their minds..fickle minded people.. =)

We tore apart colin's kitchen and discovered so many things in colin's kitchen cabinets that he didn't even know was there. Everybody was doing their own thing..Jinn and zhe with their chicken which turned out really awesome btw,ah mai with his ginger (now u know why he farts so much),shaun with his fantastic soup with garlic,pepper and pai kuat (pork ribs) which turned out to taste like water, Xiang doing what he does best:making noise. Basically everyone was doing thier own thing EXCEPT ke wei pencuri (we all know who that is ) so we elected him bandaraya.
Job duty:clean up everything !!

Even though some dishes didn't turn out all that great,we all had a blast cooking together and laughing. Great times....
