Resurrection Sunday

Happy Resurrection Sunday!
Another term used would also be known as Easter Sunday.

I'm here to explain the true meaning of Easter, for some of you might not know..=O)
Some may associate Easter with the Easter bunny or Easter eggs, which actually have nothing to do with the real meaning behind easter. Just like Santa Claus and Christmas~! Some people in Japan, when asked what it Christmas about, they answer, it's santa claus' birthday~!

Anywayz..
Let me start with Good Friday!

Good Friday is the day that Jesus Died on the cross for us two thousand years ago..
The exact date is not known, I believe they didn't count the date during that time.
Anywayz... Why did Jesus die? Some might ask..

Goes like this, in the golden olden days, in order for someone to cleanse thier Sin
or to be pure, one has to make a sacrifice. So, preists and so on would get sheep or lamb to be sacrificed. The younger the sheep the better or the more powerful. The younger, the more innocent. Anywayz, one would slaughter the animal and put it on an alter to be sacrificed so that his sin will be washed away, so that the sin would be on the animal as a substitute for him. This method was rather tedious and insuffcient.
So God ( God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are the same, just like water in different forms like pepejal, cecair and gas) in his perfect mercy, out of love for us, became man so as to offer a perfect sacrifice which would compensate for humanity's sin. In layman's term, Jesus became the Lamb and was sacrificed so that the Sins of the world may be put on him, that who so ever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16) For the consequences of Sin is death. (Romans 6:23) But God gave himself up so that we can have hope of defeating eternal punishment.

As we all know, not only did Jesus die, he was crucified. Crucifixion was the worst and most humiliating death anyone could ever go through during that time. Christ was flogged, beatened, mocked and so on. Lastly he was hunged on the cross to die. The body of Jesus was then taken down the next day and put into a cave which was guarded by Soldiers and was covered with a bolder. As Mary came on the next day, which was resurrection Sunday, the Bolder was gone, and the tomb was empty. Christ's body was gone from the tomb for he resurrected from the dead. The Roman soldiers said the diciples stole the body while they were sleeping. This is the funny part...=O)
How would a person know who stole the body when you're asleep!?!?

Anywayz, God resurrected in 3days and revealed himself to over two thousand people. While we were still sinners Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)God didn't send any Tom Dick or Harry to die for us neither did he send satan to die for us. But he sacrificed his one and only son, Jesus to die for us as a sacrifice. Sacrifice according to dictionary.com means "The act of losing or surrendering something of great value as a penalty for a mistake or fault or failure to perform." As Jesus ascended to heaven, he gave us the Holy Spirit, that his presence may be wtih us always. The same power that resurrected Jesus from the grave lives in us. Christ does not live in an alter, a synagogue or even a church. Christ lives in us.

By accepting Christ we believed and receive what Jesus had done on the cross whole heartedly, and our sins are forgiven.
Christ says in Revelation 3:20, Behold, I stand at the door, and knock, if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.

Happy Resurrection Sunday People~!
