KWFC is glad to announce to return of Justin Khoo and Mai Yuen Joon! OMFG! AMAZING!

Well to update the rest of you ke wei's, in short , WE:

1. Beat Nigel/Kenny's Team that day (our first game back together)
2. Jinn Me and Mah played field football (KEV DIDNT COME CAUSE HE WAS SICK like one dewg)
3. Joining a futsal league, and our team name is "LIKE ONE DEWG" FC
4. Watched United smash Liverpool at our next HQ (Fazil's House) tehehe
5. Catched up a whole lot.


All in all its really been awesome for me with Xiang and Ernest's presence in Dec,Jan and Feb really made my holidays. And now the return of Jinn and Mai.

What does April hold for us?

Broadway- Kingdoms

For those of you who still have been keeping up with the post hardcore rock scene, there have been a few good albums released this year. Dance Gavin Dance - Happiness was a big improvement from their previous album. Thursday- Common Existence was really goood. Saosin's new album is honestly pretty shit. (Seriously they're getting worse and worse). Taking Back Sunday's new album's pretty mediocre etc.

But the album that has to be probably the best album on 2009 in the post hardcore scene has to be BROADWAY-KINGDOMS. These guys are as technical as Dance Gavin Dance, as melodic with catchy guitar riffs like emarosa and have brilliant break down of songs like Chiodos. I'm no music critique but Broadway was the sound that the scene really needed. They are really fucking amazing.

If you feel you've lost your feel for rock lately, give these guys a listen. They're pretty unbelievably brilliant. Check out their video (Broadway- The same thing we do everynight, pinky)

Welcome Abroad

KWFC meet up in September?

To the Adelaide boys,

I have a plan for us in September !! I'll most probably be flying down to Adelaide somewhere in late September. After hanging around Adelaide for maybe 3-4 days, i'm planning to rent a car and drive all four of you boys to Melbourne maybe for the weekend. In the time we're in Melbourne, we can probably go to 7s ( i know ah mai and sam will love to go) or we can plan a maybe 3 day 2 night trip just outside of Melbourne. Mornington again maybe ? I'm open to suggestions but for now that's the plan. So all i'm asking is to leave one weekend free so that all the Ke Weis who are overseas can meet up and spend time together, which includes you Kev. =D

So KWFC roadtrip/ partying/ chill out time together in Sept ? On? Let me know. Until then, stay healthy and stop freaking buying scooters !!!

waddup fellow kwfc and readers...greetings from adelaide! hope yall are doing fine and healthy. especially those Melbourne ppl (you should know why i would say that)

anyways regarding my blog post title, its a little dilemma that i'm currently going through now.

before i go into what the dilemma is, just a little background story for your info. i got a place to stay. its just right at the back of my Uni and its a nice place to stay in. its a 2 rooms apartment. and my other house mate is a M.A.L.A.Y dude (something to take note at) from Malaysia and also a taman tun kiaa. he stays in Kajai. and he is those kinda 'modern' malay as he drinks alcohol and all. but the only thing is that he doesnt eat Pork. which is fine with me cos obviously i know and respect their views on eating pork.

so we went groceries shopping 3 days back. while getting the stuffs, i was looking at luncheon meat. so i asked him la if it was ok for me to cook pork at home. and he replied "sure NO PROBLEM just as long as i use different frying pan and utensils and plate." so okla cool as he has no problem with it, i bought quite a few tins of luncheon meat and pork stew. haha. and oh btw, i also have to store those tins in a separate drawer from the other foods. haha.

ok...so here comes the dilemma. yesterday afternoon he smsed me saying this.

"Dude. there's something i wanna tell u. not to make u to feel offended or anything but i dont think i'll be comfortable if u cook pork in the hse. i experienced it at my fren's place last niite when she was cooking pork at home. and i got really dizzy with the smell. plus i hope u can respect me as a muslim cos something regarding to it is a biggest sin. i know u already bought the stocks but for that 1 maybe u can bring it to your fren;s hse and cook it. sorry man"

so yeaa...just managed to talk to him bout it regarding this matter. i said that i respect his decision and views on the whole pork thing and i will definitely not cook pork in front of him. then i asked him whether it was ok if i cook it when he isnt home. he was quite hesitant and reluctant to say that he's ok with it cos he really wasnt comfortable with the whole cooking pork at home issue. and he also said that it was his first time smelling pork back in his frens place that night and he dint know he would have such big reaction to it like getting dinnnnnnnnnnnnnnzzzz and all. hahaha. but then i said that i am also paying for rent and i have the right to cook it just as long as he's not around and also i will air and ventilate it out la. then after that he was like okkkkkkkkkkkkkk with it 'for now'. ahah

so just for fun, what would you say to some1 like that if you were me. i really would like to hear your responses and advise as well. thanks

2 KWFC Members Have Just Left!!

This year KWFC has really parted ways. With Jinn and Mai already leaving early on this year. Well, the remainder of us did meet up, for futsal, for dinner and lunch. so first of all, I would wanna say "WE PROOFED YOU WRONG JINN!". Of course it'll never be the same, cause 4 of you guys have already left, but we did have our fair share of fun, and we got to know each other a little better. The bunch of us left weren't really close excluding me and Justin. But Its safe to say I've grown a little closer to Shaun, Jeff and Sam. I would especially say I've grown very close to Shaun and Sam, all our study sessions really worked and paid off!! All of us did pretty well and on top of that I had a good time studying out with you two. As for Jeff thanks for coming to most of the futsal sessions that I've invited you for. Sorry we couldn't go to Tenji as you wanted to so badly , but you la had to make one more trip !!

All in all, highly doubt you're gonna see me agu, stick and ah mah out. hahaha. Its quite true. But none the less, me and ah mah will try keep the kwfc spirit on the court at the very least.

All the best to SAM and JEFF. Have a good time there, and I'll most likely see you guys next July when I come down for another trip, and I hope to see the rest of you this coming December.

Update from Melbourne !

This is a long overdue post. I'm sorry but this is a rough update that the Adelaide boys (Jinn and Mai) have arrived safely in Melbourne and the KWFC branch of Melbourne have welcomed them with the openest of arms.

They've been here for the best part of 3 weeks and we've enjoyed their company so much. It's like family away from family if you know what i mean. =D The following are a few pictures of us spending our first winter together in a foreign country. Jinn will give the long update if he manages to get Chelsea to win the Premiership and if LAVESSI !!!! signs for Man Utd.

Okay.. for those who didn't know. I lost my faithful steed on Saturday.

I woke up nice and early on Saturday morning. Ate a good breakfast, took an even better dump, put on my uniwhite gear, imagined myself scoring a goal, did my celebration dance, took my helmet and went outside only to find my scooter......... gone.

Was pretty devastated. I was not sure if I could and should ring 000 cos I didn't want the police to go all s.w.a.t. team on me for a scooter, although that would have been great, so I went off.

I was gonna make a police report but I decided to go to for the Unley game 1st. (Im sure most of yall would have done the same) So I took the damn bus which was overcrowded and realised that I only had a 50. The bus driver gave me a long stare before telling me he didn't have change and gave me 24 two dollar coins. I was pretty bummed at that time and thought I could take my coins a try my luck at pokies and WIN ANOTHER SCOOTER!

Snapped back to reality and went to the changing room and told the guys about what happened. Wez was like, "..yeah, I heard the Unley guys talking and overheard that one of them stole a scooter last night. You gotta get your revenge on the field!"

And I was like.. Unley Bastards!

So I geared up and got ready to take on the guys who stole my scooter. Unfortunately, Unley got away with my scooter and the game.

Nathan took me to the Hindley police station before making sure Dan Greatz hobbled off all right to his parents car. (He took a knock in the A's)

After Nathan dropped me off, I walked around the neighbourhood to check if any of my neighbours conveniently got a new scooter. I was praying really hard and had a sudden prompting to walk down Harvey St, a street couple of blocks away from my place.

And when I got there, waddaya know.... IT'S MY SCOOTER! I tried starting it but it wouldn't until I realised the front was pried open and wires were everywhere. I tried wiring it back but it was too dark to see anything. It was about 7 at that time. So I came to a conclusion that the guy ran away with my scooter, pried open the front, tried to hot wire it but couldn't see anything and realised he had damage the scooter already and couldn't sell it.

Stupid Unley Bastard!

The police came over and was all CSI like, dusting for finger prints and stuff. Before the cop the left, he pulled a John Connor face and gave me the "we'll call you" pat on the back before leaving the crime scene.

So yeah, my scooter can't start, the front is all ripped, I have to pay for repairs and I have to take public transport.

Dear all, this will be my recording of my room followed by updates on my condition. currently 38.2 degree Celsius (means i have a fever). Finally got my hard disk and laptop over so i can watch nonsense on it. my fb isnt working well on it so im using my phone to surf around. means icant play jack shit games like geo challenge or restaurant city.
